What grades does CDC serve?

• Preschool: Small three-year-old program offered at Alta Vista
• TK - 3rd grade: before and after school care
• K - 5th grade: AM only option, 7:00 am until the start of school

 

How do I enroll in CDC?

The first step is to contact our main office to check space availability.

Is there a fee for being on the waiting list?

There is no fee for being placed on the waiting list.

If space is offered, a $150 non-refundable processing fee is required at enrollment.

 

Are you guaranteed a space in the program?

We do our best to accommodate all interested families, but placement is based on availability. Once a family is enrolled, they must re-enroll each year in February/March.

Do you need to be enrolled in the school to attend CDC?

Yes. Children must be enrolled at the corresponding elementary school to attend the school age program.

Exception: The summer program is open to all families, as space allows.

 

What are the hours of operation?

• School days: 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Non-school days (elementary schools are closed, and CDC is open):  7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

Are the hours different for preschool?

No, Preschool follows the same hours of operation as the rest of the CDC program.
