Fundations Curriculum

The Fundations Pre-k curriculum is informed by an extensive research base and designed to achieve success with a  wide variety of learners. It is a multisensory structured literacy program that presents all skills in a systematic and sequential manner. Fundations is also the curriculum used in our early elementary school grades.

Handwriting Without Tears

Handwriting Without Tears is a hand-on curriculum for fine-motor and language development as well as handwriting success. The program was designed by an occupational therapist and helps children develop important readiness skills for kindergarten, such as recognizing and building letters, vocabulary growth, body awareness, socialization skills and much more.

Kindergarten Curriculum

Each Student is Different

Our goal is to help your student develop academically, socially, emotionally, and physically. This means that each day will look a little bit different for the students, staff, and families. However, all of our Kindergarten classrooms are aligned in part with their school side sister classroom. The Kindergarten teachers are tuned in to what their students are learning at school and are actively working to extend learning opportunities while providing a great deal of additional support.

Each CDC classroom, regardless of grade level, provides specific lesson plans available each week for your review. If you have any questions about specific centers or classrooms, please contact the host site for further information.
