Room 3 - Mrs. Joan Jara
My name is Joan Jara and I have worked with RBUSD for the past 16 years. Previously, I was an assistant with the Child Development Center and a Behavioral Intervention Aide in Special Education. I earned a B.S. in Human Service Management in 2010 and was also issued a Site Supervisor Permit from the Commission on Teacher Credentialing. I have been married for 30 years, and have four grown children. They all attended Washington Elementary and also graduated from Redondo Union High School. I am very proud of their academic accomplishments! I am excited to start my eighth year at Washington CDC and I feel that the staff here is amazingly family-oriented and always willing to lend a hand. I look forward to working with your children and hope they enjoy our time together as they grow and develop into the next school year.
