Room 23 - First Grade
My name is Ms. Sharon Medina, the teacher of room 23. I have been employed with Redondo Beach Unified School District since 1997 in the Child Development department as well as in R.B.U.S.D’s special education program. I started as an instructional assistant while I pursued my education. I currently hold a Child Development teacher permit from the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing. It is my personal goal for all students to be exposed to cultural diversity as well a sense of belonging. All of the students in my classroom will have the opportunity to learn all of these amazing attributes through writing, art, science and many other subjects. I feel that my strongest ability is to look at every student and see their individuality, personal strengths and abilities. A large learning emphasis in my classroom is being kind to others and accepting everyone for their differences.
