Room 22 - TK/Kindergarten (PM)

My name is Fa Tauiliili, and it is a pleasure to work with your children. I hold a bachelors and a degree in child development, and I have worked in the Redondo Beach Unified School District for many years teaching CDC and assisting in the Special Education. My child center permit with the California credentialing board provides many opportunities to work with all school age children. It is my goal that children are engaged and happy and feel secure in my classroom. Reciting poems, singing songs making actions for them, acting out skits or role playing are essential in in my room for learning about each other and our diverse heritages. An environment that facilitates creativity in everything from art to music will be seen in the classroom with the child’s work on the walls and windows and planting activities. I feel that my strength as a teacher is having an enthusiastic attitude and giving positive reinforcement and encouragement daily. My goal is to strengthen children to believe in themselves.
